Dear Reader,

The Found Object Project (FOP) is seeking volunteer participants for a research project about people and their relationship to second-hand and "found objects". People have been obtaining and using second-hand objects for thousands of years. These objects have different meanings and usages for the people who obtain them. While some think of these objects as cast-offs, junk or rubbish, others place a different value on them. FOP is hoping to better understand how and why people use these objects.  This project is sponsored by the Cultural Re-use Research Collaborative and involves participants internationally.

We would like to invite you to participate by completing this brief questionnaire. Click to open the virus free attachment and then save it as a file in Word on your computer. Once it is saved you can begin to answer it. After completing the questionnaire save it again and then attach it to an email to: paul.camic@canterbury.ac.uk

If you have any questions please contact me. Occasionally the attachment does not open due to computer differences. If this is the case let me know and I can send you a copy via email. If you happen to know of others who may be interested in found objects please ask them to complete the questionnaire.

Thank you for participating!

Sincerely,
Paul Camic
